When on October 8, 2005 a dire earthquake jolted the hills of Northern areas, it had also jolted nation’s hearts and people from all walks of life came out with feeling s of deep sympathy to alleviate the sufferers. 
The way Pakistani nation faced and handled the catastrophe of earthquake was phenomenal. When in that national cause everyone was playing its role in order to minimise the intensity, being a part of the
society Otsuka Pakistan Limited had donated 100,000 Bottles of Life Saving I.V. Solution worth Rs. 5 million to the Earth Quake Victims and 10,000 Mouth Masks for volunteers who were working in those affected areas. Otsuka Pakistan had also donated one day salary of its staff to the Earthquake Relief Fund.
