Generic Name: Medium and Long Chain Fat Emulsion Injection (C8~24Ve).
Indications: Provides energy and essential fatty acids for patients requiring parenteral nutrition.
Composition
250ml emulsion for infusion contains:

Excipients | Egg yolk lecithin, glycerol, Vitamin E, Sodium hydroxide, water for injection |
Dosage and Administration
Administration Routes: Peripheral or central venous infusion; can be co-administered with glucose and amino acid solutions.
Adult Dosage: 1-2 g lipids/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 5-10 ml/kg/day).
Infants and Pediatric Dosage: Varies by age, with maximum infusion rates based on tolerance.
Key Warnings
Premature Infants: Reports of lipidosis and death; infants have reduced fat elimination ability.Adverse Reactions: Potential adverse reactions include hyperlipidemia, allergic responses, metabolic acidosis, and fat overload syndrome at higher doses or impaired elimination.
Contraindications
Allergy: To Soy, egg or any composition of this drug.Severe Conditions: Hyperlipidemia, hepatic or renal failure without replacement therapy, metabolic acidosis, and more.
Storage
Store at not more than 25 ℃. Do not freeze.Do not use if bag is leak, or contains any foreign matter.
